Now that's an entrance
A roaring fire is the bare minimum of hallway design these days in my opinion. How else am I to warm my frozen Montreal toes as I remove my slush-soaked Uggs in the winter? My sarcasm reveals my intensely nauseating hallway envy. I mean, holy shit. I can’t even bear to look at my own hallway anymore without rolling my eyes. I mean, why does it even bother with its fireplacelessness and lack of historic wooden arch?
And the envy only gets more intense as you look around the house. It seems that while the architect decided to let the original entryway just be its awesome self, they chose to play around with the classic Montreal structure of living, dining room and kitchen to make it a gazillion times better. It makes me wish I had more money and an HGTV house flipping show. Oh wait, everything does.
