Hello, my name is Lady Nest.

I’m a non-designer with the soul and body of a suburban mom who fancies herself to have a fine design-eye mostly because she has a subscription to Architectural Digest Espana and watches some HGTV. I also spend an alarming amount of time on the internet looking at houses and things I can’t afford. However, my favourite finds are the local treasures on kijii, IKEA, my friends’ houses or on some stranger’s real estate listing. So I thought, why not turn my personal psychological pathology into something that is as societally accepted as a blog? Since I couldn’t care less about what people write about design in their blogs, I thought I could also use it to write pretty much whatever I wanted. Basically, this is a design blog by somebody who don’t know nuthin’ about design, for people who don’t mind seeing blurry smartphone pictures of my house with dishes in the sink.
